Manufacturing Facilities

Chicago Rivet’s corporate headquarters are in Naperville, Illinois, approximately 35 miles west of downtown Chicago.  Our manufacturing facilities are located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and Albia, Iowa.   Our Automated Assembly Systems design and sales office is located in Norwell, Massachusetts and we have a network of manufacturers' representatives throughout North America.

History

Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. has a proud history and tradition that began with its founding as a manufacturer of brake lining and harness rivets in 1920.  We built our first rivet setting machine in 1925.  We became a public company in 1930, with shares trading on the American Stock Exchange.  We have been a pivotal supplier to industry for more than 80 years.  During the Second World War, Chicago Rivet received commendations from the United States government for its efforts as a vital governmental supplier for fasteners used in U.S. aircraft wings as well as other various munitions.  Today, numerous fortune 500 organizations in the automotive, appliance and electrical industries continue to confer awards and recognition for our products and services.  Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. operates in the industrial fastener industry through the production and sale of the industry’s most complete selection of fasteners, assembly equipment and automated assembly systems.
